Director Jo Young-myung commented, "We worked hard to capture the nostalgic atmosphere of the 1990s in Korea. I hope audiences will be able to reminisce about their own first love and find themselves deeply immersed in the story."
In addition, careful consideration was given to selecting filming locations that aligned with Korean cultural sentiments. The characters’ personalities and dialogue were also adjusted to better reflect Korean youth. Every effort was made to ensure that viewers who have cherished memories of their first love would feel a deep emotional connection.
