'Starship's Rookie' KiiiKiii Successfully Wraps Up Their First Pre-Debut Music Show!
Hello everyone!
Today, I bring you some exciting news—KiiiKiii, the rookie girl group from Starship Entertainment, has successfully completed their first pre-debut music show performances!
I've been keeping an eye on this new group, and it looks like they've taken a great first step!
Let’s dive right in!
KiiiKiii's Pre-Debut Track 'I DO ME'
On February 24, KiiiKiii made their entrance into the music industry with their pre-debut track, 'I DO ME'. This song embodies the mindset of a confident young girl who trusts her instincts and lives boldly. The track is a pop-dance song featuring dreamy synthesizer sounds and a strong disco drum beat.
On February 27, they performed 'I DO ME' for the first time on Mnet's 'M Countdown.' Their smooth choreography and unique concept blended perfectly, displaying stage presence that was far beyond that of typical rookies.
"Congratulations on your debut, congratulations on your debut!" That song was pretty fun. 😅
Enthusiastic Reactions from Fans and the Public
Shortly after its release, KiiiKiii’s pre-debut song entered Melon’s Hot 100 chart at No. 13, creating a buzz in the industry. Additionally, their music video quickly climbed to No. 1 on YouTube's trending videos, showcasing the immense interest from the public.
This success can be attributed to KiiiKiii’s unique promotional strategies combined with the members’ undeniable talent. In particular, their bold move to release the music video ahead of their debut drew significant attention.
The performance on 'M Countdown' had impressive stage direction and outfits, but personally, I preferred the SBS concept from the images above.
When I first saw the MV, it reminded me of the vast meadows and animals in the Netherlands, so this camping-themed stage felt even more relatable to me. 🙂
What’s Next for KiiiKiii?
KiiiKiii plans to actively communicate with fans through various music shows and content. Given the impact of their pre-debut track, expectations are high for their official debut. Wishing Jiyu, Isol, Sui, Haeum, and Kiya all the best!
I hope they continue to showcase their energy and vibrant performances.
