NJZ (Former NewJeans) Returns to Court!

Once again, NJZ (Former NewJeans) has been to court.

As expected, it’s due to the ongoing controversy surrounding NJZ and ADOR. Recently, NJZ member Hanni testified in court, stating, "I remember exactly being told to 'ignore them,'" as she directly spoke about the unfair treatment she received within HYBE.

Sigh... It’s heartbreaking that this mistreatment still hasn’t ended. 😥

On March 7, the Seoul Central District Court held a hearing on ADOR’s petition to maintain its independent management and prevent unauthorized advertisement contract signings. During the hearing, ADOR and NJZ emphasized their stance against HYBE, advocating for the agency’s independence and the protection of artists’ rights.

In court, Hanni firmly testified, "I remember exactly what I heard. Someone said, 'Ignore them,' and I remember it very clearly." She strongly asserted that NJZ had been subjected to discriminatory treatment within HYBE.

In response, HYBE stated, "NJZ was not being discriminated against; this issue arose from misunderstandings in the internal business process," making their position clear.

Since mistreatment often manifests in subtle words and actions, it can be difficult to leave tangible evidence.

Victims feel it clearly, but without concrete proof from that day, it becomes challenging to address the issue easily. However, since the public has already seen and heard about HYBE’s questionable behavior, the majority of public opinion is in NJZ’s favor. Could this influence the court’s ruling? 🤔
